My perennial garden has something blooming at all times through the growing season. As one is fading, another is budding ready to burst forth in all of its delight!!
Peonies are one of my favorites; I think because of the multitude of ruffled petals and soft gentle appearance~
The sweet fragrance of this rose bush permeates the air strongly, though its stalks are filled with very sharp thorns~~not sure of the correlation!

Beautiful pictures...looks like a cozy little sanctuary :) I am trying to add a few perennials that bloom all summer to my gardens. I didn't plan well and have a lot that are finished blooming!
